One of the biggest challenges of a project like this is knowing where and how to get started.
Many clients are under the impression that they should first organize all of their photos and memorabilia before getting started. However, this approach can feel like boiling the ocean, overwhelming and something you’ll never finish.
My approach is, to begin with the end in mind.
My first step is a brainstorming session where together we create a customized Story Board outlining the chapters of your story.
This Story Board then becomes your guide for collecting and organizing photos, stories, and memorabilia.
Making this project feel like a fun and guided treasure hunt, not work!
First Start Here! With Your Quick Start Story Board & Roadmap Session…
Jump start your organization and collection activities by beginning with the end in mind and breaking the project into chunks.
Together we’ll create a customized storyboard outlining the chapters of your unique story then develop a roadmap on how to get you there!
Spending time up front customizing your storyboard will help you focus your efforts when you dive into those bins of photos.
You’ll know what you are looking for and have a plan for organizing as you go.
This 90-minute session is priced at $500 and would be a deposit toward your finished product.

Customized Pre-Work Strategy Call
Before we meet in person, I’ll send you a Fast-Track Welcome & Orientation Package for you to complete in preparation for our Pre-Work Strategy Call.
- A Welcome Package includes customized gift certificate that you can give to your loved one describing this wonderful gift you are giving them preserving and celebrating their life story or legacy.
- During this call, we will strategize what pre-work needs to be completed before the in-person day, how to maximize our in-person time together, and who should attend which parts of the in-person session.
- I’ll then create a customized agenda for the in-person session and a personalized project plan to meet your desired deadline.
In-Person One-Day Design Session
- Design your storyboard (High-level design layout of the chapters)
- Review & select photos, documents, stories, traditions, etc.
- Fun idea to consider – invite key loved ones to help you with the review and selection process, host a lunch or dinner party for them to join you in reliving fond memories and stories for us to capture!
- Brainstorm possible themes, feature page designs, & your custom design element
- Identify interview candidates, topics & timeline
- Update the project plan identifying critical next steps and who needs to do what by when
Follow-up and Final Review
- Email support as the pieces come together
