Peace of mind is knowing that your family history is organized in one place, not kept in multiple boxes or only in the minds of loved ones, some who may be getting up in years.

Imagine having all of your family’s legacy organized, preserved and accessible for you and future generations to enjoy.

How would it feel to have an heirloom quality book that captures the essence of your parents or grandparents? That documents the important events and experiences of their lives organized with pictures and stories?

If you’ve been thinking about what to do with all the boxes of stuff you’ve somehow inherited, consider turning those boxes into a family history photo book.

It will take a bit of work, but it will be inspiring and truly rewarding work. And the outcome with be something your family will treasure for a lifetime!

I know how much work it can take because the first book I created, that honored the lives of my grandparent’s, took me over two years to finish!

Not because it was two years worth of work, but because… I was learning as I went along, I had a full time job, my computer crashed along the way, the size and scope kept creeping up because there were more weddings and babies being born that needed to be included, AND the biggie –  I didn’t know how to end it. Families don’t have an end so I felt guilty about bringing it to a close.

I may not have ever finished it had it not been for my mom’s words of wisdom. She said “…you are right sweetie, families don’t have an end, but books do! So let’s just pick a date and that will be the end of the book, but not the end of our family.” So true – thanks mom!

And now my family – my mom, her 5 siblings, their 16 children, and 34 grandchildren – enjoys the peace of mind of having our family’s 100-year history documented with 365 family pictures in a 143-page photobook. Priceless!

Fast forward to today and four legacy books later (along with dozens of toasts and roasts for friends and colleagues) where I’ve honed my process down to three months and am now a Life Story Curator helping others capture the stories of their loved ones.

Time passes quickly, so take the time now while parents and grandparents have the energy and cognitive ability to share their memories.

If you want to learn from my experience and capture your family’s history in three short months, then schedule a Complimentary Curator Session today.
