Curating Career Life Stories: How Did I Get Here? Episode 44 – An interview with Diane Zile
Join me for the career story reflections of Diane Zile, CEO and founder of JERA Partnerships, LLC. A journey with a leadership theme starting as early as the fourth grade.
Attributing a great deal of her success to the feedback she received at important times in her life, she’s extremely grateful for the leaders who had the courage to give her that feedback. And, is fortunate to have worked in organizations and with leaders way ahead of the times in understanding people strategy versus business strategy. Lessons learned: “Every leader has a shelf-life (her’s is 5 years), it’s important to know what your’s is. Doesn’t mean you have to leave the organization just maybe reinvent yourself or the role. Talk to your manager about what’s going on with you, have the courage and confidence to try new roles. Don’t worry about failing, you’ll live to tell a great story.”
