Two of her superpowers: 1) seeing the root cause not just the symptoms and 2) relatability. She discovers them by listening to others, acknowledging that others saw her leadership abilities before she did, and hearing from employees that they love working for her! With a belief that the employees are the ones who bring value to an organization, she sees her role as eliminating barriers so they can perform their best which might at times mean finding roles that are a better fit. Words of wisdom from Carol Ann: “If you hate going to work in the mornings, you’re not doing anybody any good — the company, yourself or your family. Figure out what makes you happy and go after it. Keep searching!”
