Curating Career Life Stories: How Did I Get Here? Episode 72 – An interview with Eleanor Allen

Join me for the career reflections of Eleanor Allen, CEO of Water for People. A journey that goes left and right and not necessarily always up and to the right, guided by intuition, adventure and where she can make the biggest impact. Oh, and water!

After several international assignments, her family is ready to come back to the United States. She accepts a unique assignment in Denver as Chief of Staff for the CEO of the $6B company she’s working for. Giving her new insight into leadership and decision making and what it takes to be a CEO.

What’s served her well: risk taking, strong intuition and finding allies and advocates. Her words of wisdom: “I don’t dwell on what could have been. Here’s where I am and where I want to go. Once you figure out where you want to go, tell others so more people are working on helping you get there.”
