Curating Career Life Stories: How Did I Get Here? Episode 70 – An interview with Jamie Walsh
Join me for the career reflections of Jamie Walsh, ADHD coach. A journey filled with pivots, which may not seem unusual, except that as time goes on the pivots are more frequent and driven by fear and lack of confidence.
A defining moment is getting fired after only four months at his last job, prompting him to finally start managing his ADHD — something he had been avoiding and downplaying for several years. After finding the right combination of medication and exercise he’s now experiencing clarity and energy – new feelings for him.
He’s pivoting once again, but this time with confidence! Coaching teenagers, college students and young adults diagnosed with ADHD on the systems, structures and accountability needed to be successful.
His words of wisdom: “If you think you’ve been living with ADHD, go out and learn more about it. Talk to your doctor about medications. You need to do what’s best for your mental health, you owe it to yourself and your family, to be the best version of yourself.
