Curating Career Life Stories: How Did I Get Here? Episode 48 – An interview with Gayla Wick

Join me for the career story reflections of Gayla Wick, Love Relationship Coach & Author. With a strong sense of justice at an early age, she knew by age 8 that she wanted to be a police officer/detective. And she did it! She became the first female police officer for the Concord Police Department.

She then finds herself in corporate security managing guns, gates and guards for 25 years. Two pivotal events, summoning the courage to get a divorce and being invited to leave her corporate job, send her down a spiritual journey that totally changes her life. She learns “you can’t change anyone else and happiness is actually a choice.” A big “ah ha” moment was realizing that her happiness was up to her! She embraces her happiness and her health, changes her energy about life opening the door for new opportunities – the love of her life and the new work she’s meant to do, helping women find love.
